i have been reading architectural representation and the perspective hinge- a book on the development and transformations of the perspective and other orthographic projections over western architectural history. some the work in the book is quite amazing. among them is this work by wenzel jamnitzer – a viennese engraver of the 1500s. carefully constructed and beautifully rendered experiments in geometry and its possibilities in creating complex forms. see more here
