oshiwara

went shopping for furniture at oshiwara. second hand antique- genuine and imitation in thin long deep shops with rosewood and teakwood curls and lines piled one over the other. in the darkness fragments of dusty old wardrobes and side tables. from s v road all you can see is a dingy little puncture through which you enter this dark corridor and by the time your eyes get used to the inside light the tube light is turned on. you walk through touching this and fingering that, until you get to the street to the rear and the workshops where repairs and reconstructions are going on. its like walking into a treasure house. mukul might end up buys a dining table and a planters chair for avon.
