oddly, it felt like the ride in the mountains of sikkim. lush and green, following a river upwards and back down, past the houses of aboriginal families on the edge of tourism. yeah and his family with annie and me finding a hot water spring running parallel to the river in a grey gravel riverbed. a japanese built bridge crosses the river. we mixed the cold and hot by building moats with the smooth stones that lay around the river.
