Bindiya Chakegi! she wears a sari when her morose college going boyfriend disapproves of her western clothes. These modern women! They sweep into the joint family home and shamelessly replace the older chairs with red sofa sets and the fading photograph on the wall of the dead father by (gasp!) modern art! When she leaves she takes it all with her, and the brothers are torn apart. And around this story of wild wanton women is a constellation of unity-in-diversity bombay, with even a scene of hindu prayers to an image of Mecca.
