Sabarmati Waterfront.
Maybe one day this space might approximate those renderings- at least on summer evenings. Not today though, with the heat simmering off the stone and the concrete, the few people huddled in there tiny shadows at the corners, the high concrete walls that disconnect the existing city from the river and the terribly finished architecture. It just seems atrocious in it’s conception, indifferent in its design and shoddily built.
