Judge Dredd. The Cursed Earth. 1978.
In a future (now past) all of America is laid waste after a nuclear holocaust and the new arbitrators of the world led by the best of them, Dredd, rule. After a plague attacks Mega City Two on the West coast Dredd has to carry a life saving virus across the country fighting evil scientists breeding new life, leftovers of a Jurassic Park, cyborg armies, and most amusingly of all, two warring warlords from Burger King and Mcdonalds, each claiming that their burger is the best. The plot line is mere premise for some wild abandon in drawing and storytelling.
