The boy and the world. Abel Abreu. 2012.
A lovely tragic story of the ravages of capital on the landscape. A cyclical tale of boys leaving desolate rural landscapes along with the cotton that is grown in local farms through the mills into the big bad city where fascists rule. They become hollow men remembering the music of their childhood in the songs that they sing in the city.
