coincidentally at the same time as the housing seminar there were demolitions along the edge of the nallah near the school to make way for some gardens.

sunday in college with the residents of juhu watching as we presented the public realm not only as conceived within the development plan or the minds of the residents groups; but also as that which is lived, where the debate between ‘partners’ covered slum areas, nallahs, metro lines and celebrities calling for the making of committees.
