The older neighbourhood of 50s and 60s housing is revived by inserting an open storm water drainage system that takes earlier asphalted surfaces in backyards and school yards and turns them into a network of water bodies and lawns as a water harvesting system and a public space. Besides organising this the Green Roof Institute grows plants and trees of different landscapes on the roofs of the neighbourhood homes and makes green walls in stark surfaces.
